You won't be at a loss for something to do with Janesville's award-winning water ski shows, botanical garden, historical museums, professional theater, music & performing arts, parks, hiking/bike trails, golfing, swimming, ice skating/hockey, sporting events, hunting or camping.

The Rock Aqua Jays use the beatiful Rock River as their backdrop.  They are the talented national champion performers that display their pyramids, ballet, barefoot & jumping skills.  They are performers of all ages and skill leavel.  Admission is free, but donations are encouraged.

To view all of the gardens of the world without leaving Janesville, visit Rotary Botanical Gardens - the 20 acre garden with a variety of internationally themed and specialty gardens dedicated to international peace and friendship.  There is an educational center, unique gift shop and the gardens are open for viewing during the daylight hours.

Lincoln-Tallman Historic House Museum includes all five levels, restored to their 1857 splendor.  This 26-room Italianate villa style mansion is the only private home in Wisconsin that housed Abraham Lincoln as an overnight guest.

There are several venues for professional theater, music & performing arts: 
The  Janesville Performing Arts Center was built in 1923.  The auditorium is a gorgeous example of 1920's architecture and boast great acoustics.  The theater offers a wide variety of wonderful shows and performances.
The Beloit-Janesville Symphony performs eight classical concerts in Beloit and Janesville, free Patriotic Pops concerts and three student concerts. 
The Armory built in 1930, was originally used during World War II and is now the area's exciting dinner theater, restaurant and lounge.  The theater seats 250 and offers elegant dining in a theater setting.  The lounge offers modern and casual dining with an extensive wine cellar. 
Some of Janesville's local arts include Janesville Little Theater, Spotlight on Kids, UW-Rock County University Theater and many more.

Janesville - City of Parks!  Visit the city website to get all the information on Janesville's 2,310 acres of 57 improved parks, including four regional parks, seven community parks, 31 neighborhood parks, greenbelts and open spaces.  You'll find an arboretum, a beach, outdoor swimming pool, 15 tennis courts, six lighted softball fields, five sledding hills and ten miles of cross country ski trails plus 25 plus miles of paved bike trails, 15 picnic pavilions and dog exercise areas.
